About our crawler
We index vacancies from employer career pages across Curaçao, Aruba and Bonaire so people can find them in one place. This page explains exactly what that means, and how to have your listings removed.
How to recognise us
Every request we make carries this User-Agent:
ABCIslandJobsBot/1.0 (+https://abcislandjobs.com/bot)If you see anything else claiming to be us, it is not us.
What we do
- Read the vacancies published on your public careers page, once a day.
- Store the job title, employer, location, dates and a link back to your posting.
- Show a short generated summary and send people to your own page to apply.
What we do not do
- We do not scrape behind a login, a paywall, or any page robots.txt disallows.
- We do not collect applicant details on your behalf, or place ourselves between you and the people applying.
- We do not republish your full advert as our own content.
How we behave
- robots.txt is honoured on every host, every run.
- At most 2 requests at a time to any one site, spaced out with a delay.
- Once a day, at 04:00 UTC. Unchanged pages are skipped.
Removing your listings
Email us and we will take your vacancies down. No form, no account, no conditions — tell us the employer name and we will action it.

- Anything of yours arriving via a third-party job board is dropped too.
